Detailed description of goods and/or services
SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS is a Professional Conference Organiser in the events industry.
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 72 hours of receipt of you registration. Delivery confirmed via email.
Registrations are transferable to a delegate who has not yet registered.
Delegates attending from countries outside South Africa are requested to make payment in South African Rands (ZAR) and are responsible to cover the bank charges.
The full delegate registration fee amount invoiced must appear in the Congress bank account. Should this not be the case, the delegate will need to pay the difference in cash on site before being allowed to participate in the Congress.
No delegates will be allowed entrance to the Congress without payment
Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellations
- All cancellations must be received in writing via fax/email to [email protected].
- Cancellation received before 21 March 2016 will receive a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.
- Cancellation received between 01 April - 15 April 2016 will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued for invoices raised and cancellation received after 16 April 2016.
- Delegates will be liable for invoices issued and failure to cancel prior to 16 April 2016 as well as in the case of non-attendance to the Congress.
- All refunds due will only be issued after the Congress.
Customer privacy policy
SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS bank account, the details of which will be provided on request
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
SCATTERLINGS CONFERENCE & EVENTS may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

WPA 2016 Congress Terms & Conditions
- Payment is due prior to the start of the Congress.
- An invoice with the Congress bank details will be sent to you within 72 hours of receipt of you registration. Please make payment on reciept of this invoice.
- Receipts will only be issued once proof of payment has been received and once the payment has cleared and been identified in the Congress bank account.
- Proof of payment must emailed or faxed to: Carina du Plessis [email protected] F: 011 463 3285.
- Please ensure that all payments have your unique pin number as per your invoice, in order to trace your payment in our bank account (eg Pin 234).
- All payments must be made payable to WPA 2016 Congress.
